Don’t Break The Chain
Here’s today’s 30 Day Blog Challenge: What are two key ways you could use the habits of a millionaire to monetize your blog in the next month?
Millionaire Habit Key #1
Write the first book. Don’t look back. Just bang those keys and keep moving forward.
Once the book is written, come up with at least 5 things I can add to the book to create at least two higher price points for my tiered pricing model.
Millionaire Habit Key#2
Don’t quit. It will be easy to make excuses on this one. I don’t have time. I’m not sure what to write. I’m not sure anyone will buy it.
Bull pucky! Just write the book. If no one buys it, I will certainly have more subscribers by then and I can ask them for feedback on the book. With their feedback, I can improve what I have written and take another shot at it.
Key #2a – Find someone to hold me accountable; someone who is not afraid to call bull pucky on me.
Writing 1,000 Words a Day
It all seems so simple. Or not.
When I started writing 1,000 words a day on August 1 this year, I thought it would be pretty easy because I like to write. It hasn’t been easy.
But I will tell you, Natalie Sisson has been a great help. She has (gently) forced me to answer daily challenges and keep moving forward.
Before the challenge, my days generally ended between 9 and 10 p.m. Over the last 14 days, I haven’t hit the sack until midnight or later. In total, I have been writing more than 1,000 words a day for 19 days in a row (I started before the Challenge – that’s ironic, right?).
My millionaire secret? Don’t break the chain. That is something I learned from a millionaire named Jerry Seinfeld (yes, that Jerry Seinfeld).
So far, it has worked for me.

I love the chain idea along with the calendar. Keep going! 🙂
Thanks, Kirk. Those red Xs have a grip on me!
